Description
Ajax ReX Wireless Radio Signal Range Extender
Expand the boundaries of your security ecosystem with the Ajax ReX Radio Signal Range Extender. Built to dramatically scale up wireless signal boundaries, this intelligent repeater allows you to easily protect expansive multi-storey commercial offices, separate detached garages, or complex industrial properties.
Operating as a secondary security intelligence module under OS Malevich, the ReX does not just blindly echo radio waves—it synchronises directly with your central hub to coordinate and manage all local security devices tethered to it, doubling your structural wireless signal network up to an impressive 16 km² coverage area.
Key Features
- Autonomous Threat Mitigation: Engineered with independent defensive intelligence. If an intruder severs the link between the ReX and the central hub, the ReX maintains full communication with its local sensors—triggering onsite sirens and processing independent alarm logic locally.
- Ultra-Fast Signal Delivery: Leverages the proprietary Jeweller encrypted radio protocol to guarantee seamless, two-way data relays. Emergency alarm triggers are encrypted using an AES-based block algorithm and passed to the hub in an astonishing 0.3 seconds.
- Robust Anti-Sabotage Architecture: Outfitted with structural tamper-detection mechanisms on its baseplate panel. If the unit is forced open or unmounted, it fires instant push alerts to users and security desks while running background frequency hopping to defeat active radio jamming attempts.
- Long-Term Backup Power Supply: Keeps your perimeter protected during building blackouts. The built-in rechargeable backup cell delivers up to 35 hours of autonomous backup battery operation.
- Simplified QR Code Pairing: Built for efficient field deployment. Installers can simply power up the unit, open the mobile app, and scan the unique integrated QR code layout to seamlessly link the repeater to the active security network.
