Ajax MotionProtect Outdoor Jeweller Wireless Outdoor PIR Motion Detector – White (38197)
Protect your premises before a break-in even occurs with the Ajax MotionProtect Outdoor Jeweller (Model: 38197). This professional-grade, wireless outdoor intrusion detector features an advanced multi-layered scanning matrix designed specifically to secure home perimeters, detached garages, and commercial outdoor spaces. Finished in an elegant alpine white casing, it delivers robust outdoor monitoring that functions reliably in severe weather conditions.
Key Features
- Dual-PIR False Alarm Filtering: Uses two independent passive infrared sensors combined with proprietary LISA and SmartDetect digital algorithms. By analyzing physical movement patterns in two separate zones simultaneously, it accurately detects human targets while filtering out swaying branches, birds, insects, and changing thermal drafts.
- Smart Pet Immunity: When installed at the recommended 1-metre height, the advanced correlation software ignores roaming domestic pets, cats, and dogs measuring up to 80 cm tall.
- Proactive Anti-Masking System: Operates Grade 2 level anti-sabotage protection 24/7. The device instantly alerts the hub if its front optical lenses are intentionally blocked, painted over, covered, or taped.
- All-Weather Weatherproof Build: Engineered with an ultra-durable, UV-resistant housing rated to IP54 standards. It handles extreme climates comfortably, working flawlessly across temperature ranges from -25°C to +60°C.
- Secure Jeweller Encryption: Leverages secure, proprietary two-way radio channels to transmit alarm signals in a lightning-fast 0.15 seconds. Provides encrypted line-of-sight communication over open areas up to 1,700 metres away from your central hub.
- Flexible Powering Options: Ships with pre-installed CR123A batteries that deliver up to 5 years of autonomous, low-maintenance field runtime. Alternatively, it supports a wired 12V DC external backup input for commercial setups.
