Description
Ajax MotionCam U (PhOD) Jeweller Wireless PIR Motion Detector
The Ajax MotionCam U (PhOD) Jeweller is a state-of-the-art wireless indoor motion detector that introduces Photo on Demand (PhOD) verification. Finished in a clean matte black casing, this device features a built-in camera that captures crisp snapshot series to show exactly what triggered an alarm within 9 seconds.
Compliant with UK regulations, it gives homeowners, business managers, and monitoring stations the power to check live property conditions instantly. Whether preventing expensive false police call-outs or confirming a break-in, the MotionCam U PhOD delivers complete visual control with zero privacy compromises.
Key Features
- Photo on Demand (PhOD): Take real-time snapshot verification pictures at any moment directly through the Ajax app. Photos can also be automatically triggered by a system alarm, a set calendar schedule, or system arming/disarming events.
- Advanced HDR Image Technology: The integrated camera relies on High Dynamic Range (HDR) exposure balancing to capture clear, well-defined images even in harsh lighting, deep shadows, or high-glare environments.
- Intelligent False Alarm Elimination: Employs a precision optical array combined with the proprietary SmartDetect software algorithm. It analyzes heat patterns to accurately isolate real human movement from thermal glare or moving drafts.
- Smart Pet Immunity: When mounted at the recommended height of 2.4 metres, it ignores domestic pets weighing up to 20 kg and standing under 50 cm tall, maintaining strict coverage without false alarms.
- Dual-Radio Reliability: Uses two secure protocols simultaneously—Jeweller for immediate alarm routing in 0.15 seconds, and Wings for the fast, encrypted transmission of your image packets over long distances.
- Strict Privacy Engineering: Photo delivery features multi-layered data encryption. You can set user-by-user access rules in the app to govern exactly who is authorized to request and view photos.
- Four-Year Battery Autonomy: Arrives ready to deploy straight out of the box with high-grade, pre-installed batteries that power the unit for up to 4 years of continuous, cable-free performance.
