Description
Ajax MotionCam U Jeweller Wireless Camera PIR Motion Detector
The Ajax MotionCam U Jeweller is an advanced wireless indoor intrusion detector that masterfully combines infrared motion sensing with instant video verification. Finished in a modern black casing, this high-performance PIR sensor spots human movement up to 12 metres away. The moment a boundary line is crossed, its built-in camera captures an animated series of snapshots, delivering visual proof directly to your smartphone within seconds.
Part of the professional Ajax baseline security line, the MotionCam U eliminates the anxiety of false alarms. By allowing users and monitoring stations to instantly check whether a notification was caused by a real intruder, a pet, or an environmental accident, it prevents unnecessary emergency dispatches.
Key Features
- Visual Alarm Verification: Features an integrated snapshot camera that captures a series of up to three photos (at resolutions up to 640×480 pixels) upon motion detection.
- Infrared Night Backlight: Equipped with a built-in IR illuminator, ensuring the camera delivers crisp, high-contrast photos even in low-light environments or absolute darkness.
- Intelligent Pet Immunity: Uses a software algorithm to evaluate thermal diagrams, meaning it safely ignores domestic pets up to 50 cm tall while remaining 100% responsive to real human presence.
- Dual-Radio Reliability: Employs two proprietary wireless protocols concurrently—Jeweller for transmitting immediate, encrypted alarm pulses in 0.15 seconds, and Wings for the secure, rapid transmission of visual photo data up to 1,700 metres away.
- Enterprise Grade Encryption: All data exchanged between the detector and the hub features block encryption with dynamic keys alongside session authentication to neutralize hacking and data theft.
- Anti-Sabotage Infrastructure: Backed by multi-layered protection including a built-in tamper button to alert if the housing is dismantled or detached from the wall.
- Cable-Free Deployment: Ready to operate straight out of the box with pre-installed batteries, mounting effortlessly to walls using the SmartBracket backplate without requiring any device disassembly.
